a reptile :: Article Creator Palaeontologists Unveil 240-million-year-old Reptile Likened To Chinese Dragon A long-necked 240-million-year-old marine reptile compared to a Chinese dragon has been depicted in full for the first time following new research. The Dinocephalosaurus orientalis fossils were discovered in Guizhou province, southern China. With 32 separate neck vertebrae, it had an extraordinarily long neck and its flippered limbs and well preserved fish in its stomach region indicated it was very well adapted to an oceanic lifestyle, researchers said. The reptile was originally identified in 2003, but the discovery of additional, more complete specimens since then has enabled an international team of scientists to depict the creature in full. monster fish :: Article Creator Florida Angler Catches Giant Fish. Here's How Big Sea Creature Was And How He Caught It STUART — Swordfishing along the Treasure Coast is one of those advanced-level activities when it comes to fishing methods. It's a far cry from sitting on an overturned bucket dangling a worm for specks with a bamboo cane pole. It's not like bouncing a one-ounce flare hawk jig at the Turning Basin for snook or tripletail. It's not even like casting 150 yards into the surf for whiting and pompano. If successful, all of these endeavors can land a filet of fish on one's dinner table. Only if you land a swordfish — especially one the size landed off Stuart Monday, estimated to weigh over 500 pounds — well, those filets will end up on a whole lot more dinner tables. Bob Perimian of Rocky Point caught this swordfish off Hobe Sound Feb. 19, 2024. It is estimated to weigh more than 500 pounds. How swordfishing ...

toad and salamander :: Article Creator Salamanders Of New York From the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry Salamanders, like frogs and toads, are amphibians. This means they lead "double lives" spending their early existence as aquatic larvae which undergo metamorphosis, transforming into land-based animals. These adults typically return to the water to breed. A hallmark of amphibians is a smooth skin thatmust be kept moist because it is permeable to water. Unlike frogs, salamanders keep their larval tail and slender bodies and move about by crawling rather than jumping. Salamanders of Large Water Bodies There are two species of large salamanders in New York, and both spend their entire lives in water. The mudpuppy, with its bright red gills, reaches lengths of 19 inches and is found in several large rivers and lakes around the state, including the Hudson, Mohawk and Salmon rivers and lakes Ontario and Oneida. Mudpuppi...

marmoset monkey :: Article Creator Monkeys Eavesdrop On Each Other And Listen In On Monkey Conversations Primates often exhibit advanced and intricate ways of communicating with one another. Of all the creatures in the animal kingdom, humans are definitely the best at gossip and drama. It's almost like we were built specifically for the purpose of talking behind each other's backs, so it comes as no surprise that we've invented countless methods for listening in on conversations that don't actually include us.
