outdoor cat enclosure :: Article Creator Owner Spends Hundreds Of Dollars On Huge Catio, Cat Has Better Plans A cat owner's well-intentioned effort to create a luxurious outdoor experience for their pet didn't go as hoped after discovering that their cat had other plans. After spending over $500 dollars on an elaborate catio, the owner discovered that their feline friend wasn't very impressed by the new purchase. The viral video, shared on TikTok by @user99865328 shows their newly constructed catio—a large, multilevel outdoor enclosure designed to let indoor cats safely enjoy the outdoors. The structure boasts various perches, climbing areas, and ample space for exploration. But despite the impressive setup, the cat seemed uninterested in the luxurious new space. Unfortunately, instead of exploring the expansive catio, the cat chose to curl up on the cardboard box that it came in. This behavior is not surprising to feline behav

ancient amphibians :: Article Creator News Tagged With Amphibian    Order Temnospondyli - extinct Subclass Lepospondyli - extinct Subclass Lissamphibia    Order Anura    Order Caudata    Order Gymnophiona Amphibians (class Amphibia), such as frogs, toads, salamanders, newts, and caecilians, are ectothermic (or cold-blooded) animals that metamorphose from a juvenile water-breathing form, to an adult air-breathing form. Though amphibians typically have four limbs, the Caecilians are notable for being limbless. Unlike other land animals (amniotes), amphibians lay eggs in water. Amphibians are superficially similar to reptiles. Amphibians are ecological indicators, and in recent decades there has been a dramatic decline in amphibian populations around the globe. Many species are now threatened or extinct. Amphibians evolved in the Devonian Period and were top predators in the Carboniferous and Permian Periods, but many lineages were wiped out duri

amoxicillin for dogs :: Article Creator Your Dog's Diarrhea Might Be Riddled With Superbugs Your dog's poop might be a dangerous source of bacterial superbugs. In a new study, researchers in China detail evidence that dogs experiencing diarrhea are commonly carrying multi-drug resistant strains of Escherichia coli—around 50%, in their study. The research was led by scientists at Sichuan Agricultural University. According to lead author Zhijun Zhong, an increasing number of studies have found that dogs can be a reservoir of E. Coli superbugs, including strains resistant to more than one antibiotic. But there's been relatively little data on how common these multi-drug resistant strains are among dogs in China, particularly within the Sichuan Province, which is known for its major pet-owning population. To get a better sense of the issue, Zhong and his team studied poop samples taken from more than 100 pet dogs that had been brought

snub nosed monkey :: Article Creator The Monkey Who Went Into The Cold This story appears in the February 2011 issue of National Geographic magazine. Tucked high in the Qin Ling Mountains of central China, a nimble primate with a peculiar mug has conquered a pitiless landscape. The golden snub-nosed monkey is one of five related species—remnants of once widespread populations whose ranges were squeezed by climate change after the last ice age. Enduring groups, living in territorial bands that can top 400 animals, are being squeezed again by logging, human settlement, and hunters wanting meat, bones (said to have medicinal properties), and luxurious fur. Many have been pushed into high-altitude isolation, where they leap across branches, traverse icy rivers, and weather long winters at nearly 10,000 feet, shielded by that coveted coat. About 20,000 of the golden variety remain on Earth. Some 4,000 inhabit the mountainous region where Chinese offic

brown snake with yellow stripes :: Article Creator Danger Noodle Or Friend Noodle? A Guide To Austin-area Snakes. Lee esta historia en español Shy and delicate. Two words you might not associate with snakes. But that's exactly how Gary Geiler, a lifelong snake enthusiast who is also known as u/serpentarian on Reddit, describes them. Geiler has spent most of his life studying snakes, searching for them in the wild, and educating Austinites on how to react if they encounter one. There's a good chance you will see a snake this summer. Wetter conditions brought on by the El Niño climate pattern that occurred this spring may lead to snakes being more active, Geiler said. Tabitha Blewett, a reptile expert of 25 years, agrees. Blewett owns and operates Austin Reptile Service, where she teaches reptile safety classes and responds to calls for reptile rescue. "It's a pretty common time of year to see an uptick in snake sightings,

goby fish :: Article Creator Precautionary Measures Initiated Following Detection Of Invasive Round Goby Fish DNA found at Champlain Canal's second lock in Halfmoon triggers extra monitoring By Zachary Matson A positive detection of invasive round goby DNA north of the Champlain Canal's second lock in Halfmoon triggered additional monitoring and changes to canal operations as a precaution, state officials announced Friday. State and federal agencies have been working to monitor the invasion front of round goby, which are native to the Caspian and Black seas and have spread broadly throughout the Great Lakes after being introduced sometime around 1990.  Researchers with the U.S. Geological Survey collected the environmental DNA (eDNA) samples this month, finding a single positive detection above Lock C-2 near Mechanicville, where the canal coincides with the Hudson River. The eDNA method identifies residual genetic material in air, so

western bearded dragon :: Article Creator What Does It Mean To Write Fantasy In Western Armenian? They say that flying is meant for only birds and fairytales. Is that true? At least that's the truth they've been telling us.Because that which seems improbable makes no room forwhat can be possible. And so, the unreal remains in therealm of fantasy, as part of that hidden truth that onlylives inside of you.  —Dr. Tamar Marie Boyadjian from The Mepe & the Dragon (Arpi Publishing, 2024)  In the Zone (Illustration by Arpi Krikorian, inspired by The Mepe & the Dragon) I made up so many stories as a kid. A lot of them were influenced by the fantasies I read — even more were inspired by my loneliness. Characters were easy to get along with. They didn't make fun of me, and they made for great friends. Plus, there were dragons and mythical creatures — I still love dragons. Every book was a new world, a new adventure. There's never
