ATLANTA, GA – This weekend, embrace the cold weather with a few laps around the ice skating rink at the opening of Skate The Station. If you prefer something a little less adventurous, you can head to Park Tavern for the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival — one of the most anticipated wine festivals of the year.

You’ll also want to head to the Atlanta Botanical Garden to check out rare and endangered amphibians at the public frog feeding. And last but not least, be sure to close out the weekend with a little discount holiday shopping at The Children’s Place.

A Rajasthan sanctuary recently received a protective cover against a proposed move by the State government to reduce the size of its eco-sensitive zone, according to daily The Hindu. The Tal Chhapar sanctuary has large colonies of the herbivorous spiny-tailed lizard.
