Bengaluru News Highlights: Amit Shah at Hubbali, Belagavi today in second visit to poll-bound Karnataka - The Indian Express
Amit Shah News, Bengaluru Highlights, January 28: Union Minister Amit Shah is visiting the Hubbali and Belagavi districts of Karnataka on Saturday in his second visit to poll-bound Karnataka in a month. While he was in Mandya district and Bengaluru on December 30 and 31 last year, Shah will this time visit Hubballi-Dharwad, also called the Kittur-Karnataka region. Shah will participate in the BJP's Vijaya Sankalpa Abhiyana in Kundagol and pray at the city's Shambulingeshwara temple. He will launch the programme by doing a wall painting in ward no. 7 and at booth no. 50 of Kundagol.
Meanwhile, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Friday issued a notice to meat vendors and restaurants in the vicinity of Yelahanka Air Force Station to stop the sale of meat and non-vegetarian dishes from January 30 to February 20 owing to Aero India-2023 which will be held from February 13 to 17. This measure is taken by the BBMP every year ahead of the Aero India show.
In other news, Bengaluru metro services between the Mysuru Road and Kengeri stations on the purple line will be closed from Jan 27 to 30 in view of the commissioning work of the extension lines from Kengeri to Challaghatta. The train services will therefore be available only between the Baiyapanahalli and Mysuru Road stations on these four days.
