Connecticut Fisherman Reels In Enormous Conger Eel - i95rock.com

In October 2022, Connecticut's Niantic Bay was the scene of an out-of-the-ordinary rare catch of a slimy and long fish. Angler Steve Bender hooked what he thought was a monster, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

At first, he thought he reeled in a mammoth blackfish, but when he finally battled it out of the water, he quickly found out he had caught a state record conger eel 4.3 feet long and weighed in at 13 pounds, 13 ounces!
