Watch Dog's Reaction As Owner Gets Him A Puppy So 'He Won't Be Lonely'

A dog brought the internet to tears when his owner got him a brother pooch so he wouldn't get lonely.

Having two dogs in the home has various benefits, according to Spinnaker Veterinary Clinic. They can keep each other company, combat loneliness, entertain each other, and help ease separation anxiety.

One owner put this theory to the test by introducing a new dog to her husky. The heartwarming footage posted to TikTok by @coco.Lo_ showing the white puppy with black spots meeting his big brother has already garnered over 690,000 views on the platform.

They shared on TikTok: "This is your sign to get your dog another dog."

In the video, the puppy, a mixed terrier, Chihuahua, and border collie, carefully walks toward the husky and then lovingly kisses his nose. The two dogs, Coco and Loki, then stand face to face, and their owner showcases a montage of their most loving moments.

The boys show their affection by snuggling up together, sleeping, and swimming in a pool together, with the husky appearing to help his younger brother, who is left confident in the water.

In one part of the montage, the husky swims in a muddy pool of water, and the white dog follows him to the water's edge without jumping in.

The water-loving pups also frolic together in the sea and wear matching tartan coats.

Coco and Loki sprint around in the rain together and later share a sunny walk.

According to the American Kennel Club, Siberian huskies are highly affectionate big dogs who get along well with other dogs, as documented in the viral video.

Commenters on TikTok were overjoyed by the two dogs' close connection.

One TikTok user wrote, "That was a beautiful video and a wonderful life they have, thank you for showing us."

"They are best friends," another commenter, Sarah Forbes, said.

In the comments, @coco.Lo_ shared that the husky was a little over 1 year old when they introduced his new friend into the home.

"It truly makes a world of difference if anyone's dog seems depressed," TikTok user Christie commented.

"The two of them in the pool actually brought tears to my eyes!" wrote another commenter.

Newsweek reached out to @coco.Lo_ for comment via TikTok. We could not verify the details of the case.
