Bob Mortimer Teases Paul Whitehouse As He Makes Health Admission On Gone Fishing
Bob Mortimer teases Paul Whitehouse for being illBob Mortimer was quick to tease his pal Paul Whitehouse on Sunday's episode of Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing.
As the episode opened, Paul, 66, could be heard coughing as they drove to their location in Dorset to which Bob, 65, said: "Paul, can you stop that?"
This prompted Paul to open up as he admitted: "Well I've got a cold, Bob, I haven't just got a cold, I mean I have got the cold!" with Bob teasing: "Are you going to be going on about it all day?" to which Paul joked: "I am, I'm going to be milking it endlessly!"
Paul was then quick to criticise Bob's parking as the latter exclaimed: "That cold is making you insane!" Later, as they got stuck into fishing, Bob teased Paul's fishing attire as he remarked: "You're incredibly equipped. Is this because of your cold, this little rag here? To wipe your?" to which Paul replied: "I wasn't going to mention my cold anymore!"
The episode saw Paul and Bob travel to Dorset to fish the River Frome in search of grayling. Later in the episode, they attempted mackerel fishing on Chesil Beach.

Viewers are treated to a mix of comedy, heartwarming moments and genuine conversations as they discuss life, ageing, and their enduring friendship, reports the Mirror.
BBC has commissioned an eighth series for 2025, with each fishing location chosen by its relevance to Paul or Bob personally, following the broad journeys of their lives. Each episode takes a wide-ranging theme about life which Paul and Bob discuss, often sharing very personal insights and experiences with each other.
In other news, earlier this year, Bob expressed his eagerness to join the celebrity edition of The Traitors. "It's the only show of its kind on TV that I would agree to get involved with but, yes, definitely count me in, I'd love to do it," he shared with The Mirror.

"I think they're all great, it's a brilliant format. And Claudia is the best of the presenters."
As well as the UK version for BBC1, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, there is also a US version hosted by Scottish star Alan Cumming and an Aussie version with actor Rodger Corser. All are filmed at Ardross Castle near Inverness and are available on BBC iPlayer.
Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing is available to watch on BBC and BBC iPlayer.
