Flash The Dog In Need Of Foster Or Adoption Hero

EAST BROOKFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Second Chance Animal Shelters is asking for the public's help to foster a dog while recovering from surgery before he can be adopted.

Flash is a 7-year-old Terrier, American Pit Bull/Mix who was brought to the shelter more than six months ago by his family due to life changes. In a news release sent to 22News from Second Chance, they said Flash arrived sad and uncertain after many years full of playing ball with his family.

Second Chance saved over 55,000 pets in 2024

The stress of the shelter took a toll on Flash as he tore his cruciate ligament, which will require surgery. The animal shelter said Flash cannot have surgery until he finds a foster family to look after him. Once he recovers, he can hopefully remain with the foster family or be able to find a family to adopt him.
