Create a Pet Emergency Kit
Food and Water: At least 3–7 days' supply of pet food and bottled water. Include a manual can opener if needed.
Medications: A week's supply of medications your pet needs, along with a copy of the prescription.
Medical Records: Keep copies of vaccination records, medical history, and a photo of your pet in a waterproof bag.
First Aid Supplies: Include bandages, antiseptic wipes, tweezers, and a pet-specific first aid guide.
Collar, Leash, and Tags: Ensure your pet's identification is up-to-date, and pack an extra leash and collar.
Comfort Items: Familiar toys, blankets, or bedding to reduce stress.
Hygiene Supplies: Waste bags, litter box with litter, or disposable litter pans.
