"How can I continue living without her."According to New York Post, Franklin County Animal Control took the three dogs after the tragic incident and will investigate the matter before deciding what will happen to themDog breeds not ideal for kids In light of the incident, parents must make note of the dog breeds that are not child-friendly and can be dangerous for children.
American Pit Bull Terrier The first on the list, and a red-flag breed for households with children, pit bulls are known to be an aggressive breed and physically very strong. A research supported by the CDC says 68% of pit bulls have been responsible for dog bites since 1982 and they are responsible for more fatalities than any other dog breed.
Rottweiler Aggressive and territorial, they have a strong bite due to which they are capable of causing grave injury or death. A study conducted by CDC demonstrated that Rottweilers were responsible for 29 human deaths over the past two decades. Despite this, they are known to be excellent guard dogs and a popular choice for home security. However, they should never be left unsupervised around children."
German Shepherd They are undoubtedly one of the most popular dog breeds but that doesn't make them safe around children. They are often engaged as police dogs, guard dogs, and service animals. They have a large build and loads of energy. If not trained well, they can be quite aggressive.
Chihuahua The tiny sized Chihuahuas are adorable. As much as they look ideal for families with young kids, they could have some traits which could be dangerous for kids. They can be territorial, relying on barking, or even biting, to defend themselves. Since children often miss their social cues, Chihuahuas may react aggressively when they feel threatened.
Siberian Huskies Siberian Huskies are energetic and strong, with a love for rough play that can unintentionally harm small children. Their independence and stubbornness make them tough to train, and they may react to kids' sudden movements or loud noises. It's best to wait until children are older before bringing a Husky home.
Wolf hybrids Wolf hybrids, a mix of domestic dogs and wild wolves, can be unpredictable and hard to train. They're not ideal for families, especially with kids, and aren't good guard dogs due to their shy nature. Many areas have legal restrictions on owning them, so research is essential before considering one.
