If a replacement doesn't come soon, the clinic will have to close permanently. The Toledo Humane Society Family Pet Clinic will close it's doors on July 11, which is the last day for it's current veterinarian. The Humane Society's President & CEO, Stephen Heaven, tells 13 Action News the agency is searching nationwide, but with a vet shortage plaguing the country, it's been a challenge.
