The 24-year-old, from Lyon, France, filmed as she explored the former aquarium's dim corridors.

In the footage, Juliette can be seen clambering into the crumbling aquarium through an open window.

The 24-year-old stumbles over a squid corpse, before chancing upon a long-dead shark whose rotting carcass has been preserved inside an old tank.

She accompanied the video with the message: "The horror. See my exploration and you will be shocked!"

Juliette, who joked that she is "full time on YouTube", said: "The aquarium is in Spain.

"The dead animals we came across included fish, squid and a shark."

She added: "But the shark is very impressive, so it definitely appeals to many."

It comes after another rotting shark was spotted in an abandoned aquarium in Australia.

The taxidermy shark was suspended in a green tank of formaldehyde and had almost all of it's razor-sharp teeth intact.

The eerie find had been captured by urban explorer Luke McPherson, who uploaded a video of the unlikely discovery to social media.

He said: "Once I got the light behind the tank I was like 'wow that's creepy'!"

"The fumes were so bad you couldn't last longer than a minute in that room, the formaldehyde must have been evaporating.

"The tank was huge and in bad condition, with a rusting metal frame and smashed panels of glass and trash thrown inside."
